While Guidi is significantly active in the Marche and Emilia-Romagna regions, the other companies involved operate in Northern Italy and Tuscany, with current consolidated revenues of approximately one hundred million euros. Through the envisaged acquisitions of further businesses, Everest is also poised to rapidly grow as an industry leader.
The Guidi family entered into a reinvestment agreement with Everest, whereby the family is going to keep managing Guidi under the leadership of Giuseppe and Raffaele Guidi, as well as the group coordination of Alessandro Zunino, the initiative's promoter and CEO of Everest. The company will also be chaired by Umberto Quadrino, former CEO of Edison from 2001 to 2012 and current president of Tages SPA, an asset management company focusing on renewable energy and the energy transition.
Guidi Group was assisted by Arcadia as M&A advisor, with an operational team consisting of Piercesare Villa, Riccardo Bàrbera, and Stefano Morelli, as well as by Senior Advisor Filippo Guidi, Piercarlo Mariotti as legal advisor and Massimiliano Tittarelli as tax advisor.
Vam was assisted by Augusto Lippi, Chiara Leoni and Niccolò Baldacci of LABS Corporate Finance with regards to its scouting activities. Luca Cuomo and his DWF team served as legal advisor to Vam, the KPMG team led by Matteo Ennio coordinated the financial due diligence, while the Legance team led by Paolo Ronca oversaw the tax due diligence and defined the transaction structure.
